About Robbie

Hi, this is Robbie Tompkins with Hardworking Handyman, dba Southern Arizona Home Repair. I have over 25+ years of construction and remodeling background. My specialty is bathrooms, kitchens, tile, drywall, framing, electrical, plumbing, decks, garages, and all around remodeling. I take pride in everything that I do. I have grown up around construction all of my life.

I moved to AZ and started with ReBath in 1999. I started as an installer, became a trainer for them, and then moved to Tucson where I opened and ran the Tucson office for years. They then sent me to Belgium to train people in Europe, which I did for approximately 2 months.

In 2014, I opened up my own Handyman business, and then also started Xtreme Bath with a plumber friend of mine. Due to a motorcycle accident, in 2016, I was laid up for 6 months. After that time, I went back to doing my handyman business and left Xtreme Bath.

In August 2019, I was recruited by Bath Planet of Central Phoenix to revive their warranty and installation crew. I spent 4 years hiring and building their warranty and installation department. In 2023 I decided to move back home to Tucson, because the commute was too much. During the 4 years in Phoenix, I still maintained my handyman business on weekends. Now I am back to doing my Handyman business and building bathrooms on my own.
